Candidate for DuPage County Board Member, District 4.

I am a retired public school educator and coach who has always been passionate about serving my community.  As a longtime resident of DuPage County I am excited to bring my collaborative, commonsense attitude and broad depth of experience to the County Board.

Qualifications from my academic and work experiences that transfer exceptionally well to a position on the County Board are listed below.

My academic experiences will allow me to work well in the County Board’s professional environment.  My time spent providing support to our most vulnerable community members including domestic violence survivors, immigrants and young adults preparing for their General Education Diplomas has provided me with the ability to recognize and respect the needs of diverse communities.  And my years of service as a coach and classroom instructor have given me the skills needed to deal with myriad challenges at the drop of a hat.
 

Simply put, I am prepared with a uniquely diverse combination of knowledge and experience and ready to contribute with compassion and integrity.
